The Métis Community Hub is known as Ma Faamii, which means My Family in Michif. It is a culturally safe space designed to connect Métis citizens with a wide range of social, economic, and mental support services. Métis Nation-Saskatchewan (MN-S) staff will assist citizens by supporting:
• Needs Assessment;
• Information and Referral;
• System Navigation;
• Registry intake, and
• Documentation Assistance.
The high-quality, confidential, and citizen-focused services offered by compassionate Ma Faamii staff will help individuals and families access the right supports they need from all government departments, institutions, and community partner agencies. The one-stop service centre will help improve the well-being of families and individuals with coordinated and comprehensive care.

Concept3 Business Interiors Ltd. (C3BI) played an integral role in the design and completion of the Ma Faamii space. The team at C3BI worked closely with MN-S to gain a deep understanding of the needs, preferences, purpose, and vision for the space. Leveraging their extensive experience in commercial furnishings and interior design, C3BI helped create a space that meets MN-S’s vision of a welcoming space that fosters community and cultural sharing with coordinated and comprehensive care.
To bring the client’s vision to life, C3BI utilized primarily Teknion, Gus Modern, and Sit-on-It product lines, carefully choosing products that would suit the functional and aesthetic requirements of the space. Teknion products were selected for their modern, versatile design that can be tailored to meet a wide variety of needs and uses. Gus Modern’s pieces were chosen for their unique, contemporary style and flair, providing a dynamic and inviting atmosphere. Sit-on-It chairs were incorporated for their sleek appearance, ergonomic design, and comfort.
Throughout the project’s lifecycle, C3BI provided guidance and support for the client as they made key decisions, including fabrics and finishes, furniture layouts, and more. With an unwavering commitment to providing outstanding customer service and attention to detail, C3BI delivered a stunning, functional, collaborative, and comfortable space that perfectly reflects the client’s values and goals.
C3BI's expertise in furniture selection, their understanding of the project goals, along with their creative solutions has brought the Ma Faamii project to live. The products chosen, their quality, design and function add to the space’s overall welcoming appearance resulting in a community focused family environment that reflects MN-S’s vision for the space. We thank MN-S for being a part of the Ma Faamii Project and extend our best wishes to the Metis citizens of Saskatchewan as they as welcomed into this new community hub in Saskatoon.
