The AVE Building is a 3 Storey, 42,000 square foot medical complex located between Jasper Ave. & Lorne Ave. in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This new medical building was purposefully designed by KSA Group Architecture and built by Graham Construction to meet the needs of healthcare professionals, with a modern design and functional layout that not only enhances operational efficiency but prioritizes patient comfort and accessibility in a vibrant urban setting.
The furniture design choices were based on each individual tenant's vision for their own space but with a common goal for the building to be uniform and present a modern collaborative and comfortable space that felt warm, calm and inviting.
“As we approach our first holiday in our brand new building, The Ave, the season offers us a time to reflect on the previous year and give thanks to those who helped us reach out goals. Heidi and the team at Concept3 not only helped us reach our goals but went above and beyond to exceed our expectations, providing us with outstanding and exceptional service, quick responses and updates on every detail.
As first-time business owners and having to design and outfit an entire new space, Concept3 covered every detail from the kitchen to the waiting room, even window coverings, the exam & procedure rooms to doctors offices, and reception desks to the boardroom, there wasn't a single aspect missed or neglected.
Our first meeting with Heidi was at the Concept3 showroom where we viewed their numerous collections, tried the comfort of the chairs and materials, and were provided with virtual images of our space based on colour schemes previously discussed. They have walls of samples of every colour and material they offer so we could in real time make sure our colour choices worked with one another. They offered us suggestions, and feedback from other clients who had ordered similar items.
From the moment we ordered our furniture, we had promised delivery dates and were regularly updated with the progression of our delivery. Their assembly crew made arrangements with us to be on site for delivery and installation. They were extremely professional and cleaned up after themselves. They took the time and passion to place each piece of furniture exactly where it belonged based on our drawings. They truly took away all stress and extra work on our end so we could focus on the other details. I have recommended Concept3 to others already and will continue to do so. I cannot say enough good things about Concept3 and their entire staff. They truly have the gold star standard and we could not have done it without them. Most of The Ave medical complex on Jasper Avenue was furnished by Concept 3 and anything we decide to do in the future will be as well.”

Concept3 Business Interiors Limited collaborated closely with both Colleen DeChamp (Interior Designer) and each individual tenant to meticulously curate a selection of high-quality furnishings and finishes to bring The AVE Medical Complex to life. By choosing quality pieces from Teknion, Global Healthcare Upholstery, OFGO, and Sit-On-It Seating, they ensured a perfect blend of comfort, durability, and aesthetic appeal throughout the building. The thoughtful addition of a Quiet Earth moss wall to enhance the space with a touch of biophilic design, infused the complex with a sense of tranquility while adding a few selections of Hush etched wall acoustic not only created a fantastic visual statement, but contributed to sound control for a serene environment for patients and staff alike. The final addition of Elite Blinds provided optimal light control and privacy, rounding out a thoughtfully designed interior that prioritizes innovative design and functionality in perfect harmony within the multi-floor medical building.
The AVE Building not only meets the specific needs of its individual medical practices but also fosters a collaborative, cohesive and welcoming environment for all visitors to the space. Congratulations to all housed within this fabulous new medical building in Saskatoon!
