Orano Canada Inc. has been exploring uranium, developing uranium mines, and producing uranium concentrate in Canada for over 50 years. Headquartered in Saskatoon, SK they are the leading producer of uranium in Canada. Their new building in Saskatoon was a project that needed the upmost care and attention given to environmental aspects, as well as comfort for the employees.

The Teknion Leverage workstations with hiSpace height adjustable tables & Teknion Expansion Desking paired with Humanscale & Nightingale ergonomic task chairs within each space creates a very effective work environment that is not only ergonomic, but highly functional and aesthetically pleasing.
To maintain a consistent finish palate throughout the space, Orano chose Teknion’s finishes in Very White with Coastal Elm that is textured to give the look & feel of natural wood with the durability of High Pressure Laminate. Different worksurface thicknesses within the same color palate allows a uniform look with a high end finesse in boardrooms and executive offices when paired with Sit-On-It Prava executive chairs. Teknion DNA seating along the walls with electrics & laptop tables provide additional seating and functionality while maintaining an executive environment.
Teknion’s innovative product Tek Pier provides a wall-integrated, height adjustable meeting table, monitor & added technology for an intimate meeting space that achieves an ergonomic, collaborative experience for individuals or groups while maintaining a clean professional look.
Informal meeting and collaboration areas were achieved with electrified Hub tables complemented by Nami seating, Studio TK’s unique Fractals lounge seating paired with Orano yellow DNA ottomans & Teknion’s Banqs lounge seating with tablets. As well the bright and vibrant café areas created with Expansion tables, Banqs lounge & Nami chairs creates perfect spaces for employee sharing & creativity.
