The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest organization in Saskatchewan, employing over 44,000 employees and physicians responsible for the delivery of high quality and timely health care for the entire province. They are driven by the commitment to improve front-line patient care for Saskatchewan people, and they are working together to better coordinate health services across the province to ensure patients receive high quality, timely health care wherever they live in Saskatchewan. As part of this commitment to improve front-line patient care for Saskatchewan people, SHA decided to invest in a new clinic and administration office in Regina, SK and they selected Concept3 Business Interiors (C3BI) in conjunction with 1080 Architecture to help perpetuate their vision into their new office space.

C3BI Creates a Healthy Ergonomic Design:
C3BI used Teknion’s height-adjustable desk lines called Navigate and HiSpace along with Humanscale’s ultra-sleek, durable and easy to adjust ergonomic monitor arms throughout the design. These were integrated with Teknion’s Leverage panel system with glass add-ons to not only provide individual division for employees with a bright, open and welcoming environment but to support a healthier, more ergonomic working posture while allowing for instant personalization of the workspace for improved comfort, health, and productivity.
The use of Teknion’s Expansion line with its’ broad range of freestanding personal storage and applications was then used along with Sit-on-It’s extremely comfortable yet adaptable High Back Wit Task Chairs in both the workstations and private offices in order to effortlessly complete a uniform look that emanates this fresh and inviting design while sustaining a healthy working posture.
To complete the workspace, C3BI used Teknion’s Ledger filing & storage line in conjunction with wall mounted Safco E-Z Sorters to seamlessly integrate the file & storage requirements with a similar crisp, clean design.
In SHA’s collaborative meeting space, appropriately called the “Huddle Space”, C3BI gravitated to a blend of Teknion’s Collaborative Ottomans, Expansion Flip-Top Tables, and beautifully sculpted Volume stacking chairs in conjunction with Teknion’s award winning Zones Modular Seating with its soft curved lines to provide an unconventional work setting with a distinctive residential feel. All of us at C3BI are extremely proud to have been a part of the creation of SHA’s new office and we look forward to their staff enjoying their bright and beautiful new space!
