Originally founded in 1996 to provide independent investment advice, financial planning and clear guidance for high net-worth individuals, families, business owners and institutional clients, Wellington-Altus values the objectivity and impartiality of being an independent firm where the best interests of their clients come first with a mission to create peace of mind and build enduring relationships. As part of this commitment to provide an exceptional client experience Wellington-Altus decided to upgrade their Saskatoon office to improve the Saskatoon client experience and contracted C3BI in conjunction with Strata Development to make their vision come to life.

C3BI began by using Teknion’s glass storefront wall system Optos™ with its’ fully transparent storefront, no vertical mullion interruptions, rectilinear profile and minimal structure to provide a contemporary, low-profile aesthetic which created a refined, seamless look while allowing natural daylight to flow into the building interior and maintaining access to the beautiful external views. C3BI continued this open concept with the use of a blend of Teknion’s highly configurable Thesis™ tables complimented by Teknion’s Interpret™ benching system with it’s flexible 120 degree workstation application and the addition of desk top screens and worksurface mounted Power/Data Cubes in all areas to offer a contemporary design flexible enough to adapt to changing demographics and allow for personal expression that speaks to the varied needs across the office landscape. Continuing with this consistent clean open design, C3BI complimented the desking systems by using Teknion’s Expansion™ and Ledger™ storage and continued with the use of the Expansion line with its’ broad range of freestanding applications and extensive choice of styles and materials in all the private offices. The use of Teknion’s Projek™ task, with matching Guest & Conference Chairs provided a consistent smart, simple seating solution with a clean and unassuming look to complete the space while sustaining a consistent aesthetic throughout the office.

For elegant boardrooms, C3BI gravitated to the use of Teknion’s Audience™ Tables with their wide selection of sizes, shapes, leg options and finishes paired with a mix of Sit-On-It’s Prava™ high-back conference chairs with headrests and Rouillard’s contemporary Solo™ mid-back armchair with it’s residential feel to create the perfect conference rooms balanced between refinement and ultimate comfort.

As a final touch to this design, C3BI used Global Upholstery’s very chic contemporary, yet curvy retro Kate™ chairs for a little fun in the signing room and their contemporary Wind Linear™ lounge series in the front reception for its simple geometry and slim proportions to create a relaxed and open atmosphere with a timeless look.
